what do you do
when life keeps on hurting you
when you look around
and
in all of the eyes you see
there’s nothing but
contempt
hate
and
jealousy
men
claiming to be
GODS
turning out to be
lower than
what the EARTH’s gravitational pull
can do to men without wings
who dare to steal the
hopes
and
dreams….
when you look at me
who do you see
do you just see a woman
standing strong
against some mighty things
do you see that
there’s no breaking me
that I keep on soldering…
is that why you envy me
men claiming to be GODS
doing their best to
destroy
the TRU EARTH…
but
unfortunately
all of the blame
does not just lie at their feet
it is my shame that I too share in the blame
for being in
situations
that
put me in positions
where my worth
is up for compromise
I do not say these words to offer an excuse
Just REAL enough to
speak unspoken TRUths
because I know that his action
is only a result of
my reaction
to a situation
that
became
complicated…
so these are my new
Gifts from the GODS –
